Our Proclamation

Award-winning, farmer-owned, and  b-corp certified, Cabot Creamery is a slice above the rest.

It makes sandwiches soar, casseroles comforting and turns appetizers into showstoppers. And over a century ago, it managed to bring dozens of family farms together to form what would become a b-corp certified dairy co-op and one of  the greatest collaboration stories in history.

Heritage, hard work and a healthy dose of eccentricity have helped this big little co-op of ours crank out the finest dairy in the country and push each other to perfection since 1919. Lifting others up when things are down. Extending our backyards to our neighbors at every opportunity. And applying generations of dairy knowledge to making cheese that’s worthy of all of us.

Worthy of our farmer owners who provide the milk...The good people who make, package and deliver our products...And worthy of the home chef who melts it, mom who shreds it, or dad who folds it into his “world famous” mac and cheese.

Without each of us, cheese is just curds and whey, blocks and slices. But with us, cheese is a conversation piece...Proof that purpose and pride can transcend simple snacks...And a powerful reminder of what’s possible when farmers and consumers alike become family.

For over a century, our farmers have worn their hearts on their sleeves. And everyone who values higher standards and better cheddar?
