Avocados, aside from being delicious, are highly nutritious too. If you’re looking to introduce more fruits to your diet, then you should consider eating avocados on a regular basis. You can eat avocados on their own, make guacamole, or whip up a light, refreshing spread. One of our most popular spreads, avocado yogurt spread, is flavorful and easy to make. Our recipe makes about 1½ cups. You can add the spread to just about anything—use it as a dip for chips, a sauce for proteins, or a sandwich spread. It’s up to you! After trying our spread, please share it with your friends and family on Facebook, Pinterest, Twitter or Instagram.
Making our avocado yogurt dip is a breeze. Simply gather up the following ingredients: two ripe avocados, Cabot two percent Plain Greek Yogurt or Cabot Plain Greek Yogurt, red onion, lime juice, salt, and ground chipotle pepper. Once you have the ingredients, prepare the avocados—scoop out the flesh and mash it up with a fork. Then add the yogurt, onions, salt, lime juice, and chipotle pepper. You can then serve the dip with chips or you can spread it on a sandwich—either way, you won’t be disappointed!
Looking for another recipe that features yogurt? Consider trying out our curried Greek yogurt topping. Cabot is a cooperative of over 800 farm families. We produce some of the most popular cheeses—including a wide range of cheddar cheeses—in the nation. In fact, a number of our cheeses are award winning! We’re positive that you and your loved ones will love our avocado yogurt dip, but we’d love to hear your feedback about the recipe. After trying it, make sure to rate and review it.
