Cheddar, crafted in collaboration with Jasper Hill Farm. This rich, nutty,
and perfectly aged cheddar is sure to be the star of any celebration. Pair it
with complementary flavors to create an impressive and delicious spread that
will leave your guests craving more. Creating a cheese board is more art than science. Use different colors, textures and flavors to craft a beautiful cheese board that you will be proud to serve.
Ingredients
1 - 6 ounce wedge of Jasper Hill Farm Cabot Clothbound Cheddar

1 - 6 ounce bar Cabot Alpine or Farmhouse Reserve Cheddar (or any of the Cabot Legacy Collection cheddars)
3 to 4 types of berries and/or fruit such as strawberries, raspberries, blueberries, grapes, about a handful of each
10 - 12 slices of soppresatta or other hard salami
1 or 2 types of colorful veggies such as radishes or cherry tomatoes
2 to 3 types of crackers of varying shapes and sizes such as flavored melba toasts, or seeded crackers
1 small bowl or ramekin of fig jam or chutney
Other optional items to taste: olives, nuts, mustard
Directions
PREPARE fresh fruit or veggie ingredients by rinsing, drying and slicing as needed.
SLICE the smaller cheese bars creating a couple different shapes such as triangle, square or rectangle. Slice the salami.
CRUMBLE some of the Clothbound wedge into bite-size pieces. Save part of the cheese wedge to display on the cheese board.
ASSEMBLE the cheese board. Arrange the cheeses on a medium-large board or platter in decorative groupings, leaving space in between for other items. Add the fruit, veggies, salami and crackers in groups around and in between the cheese to make an attractive and colorful arrangement. Add the dish of jam or chutney including a small spoon or knife for spreading.
