Ingredients

Directions

  1. ASSEMBLE sandwiches with four slices of Pepper Jack Cracker Cuts (or more!) between two slices of bread. Set aside.

  2. HEAT a cast iron skillet over moderate campfire, or on a stovetop.

  3. ADD 1 tablespoon butter to pan and swirl until melted and bottom of pan is covered.

  4. PLACE the two sandwiches in the pan and cover loosely with foil or a pot cover. Cook until golden brown.

  5. ADD additional 1 tablespoon of butter to pan and then turn the sandwiches to cook on other side until golden brown.

  6. REMOVE from heat and slice in half.

Recipe Tips

Grilled cheese sandwiches are all-time favorites just plain, but try adding sliced tomato, pickles or ham to bring some variety.
