Ingredients
-
4 (8-ounce) Cabot Bars or Cracker Cuts, plain and flavored
2 - 3 types of crackers of varying shapes and flavors
¼ pound thin sliced salami, optional
3 - 4 types of small fruits, berries or veggies of varying colors and shapes, such as grapes, strawberries, dried apricots, figs, cherry tomatoes, olives, etc.
2 - 3 types of nuts such as pistachios, salted almonds, walnuts
2 small ramekins, one for a sweet condiment like chutney or fig jam and the other for mustard
Fresh thyme, rosemary and sage sprigs
Directions
CUT each bar or cracker cut slice of cheese into varying shapes such as cubes, squares, and stars.
PREPARE fruits and veggies by rinsing, drying and cutting as needed.
ASSEMBLE the cheese board in the shape of a tree on a large platter or cutting board (or directly on a clean countertop). Arrange the cheeses in decorative groupings, leaving space in between for other items. Add the fruit, veggies, salami, crackers and nuts in groups around and in between the cheese to make an attractive and colorful arrangement. Add the dish of jam or chutney and mustard including a small spoon or knife for spreading.
PLACE the fresh herb sprigs on the tree to resemble “branches”.
