Smoothies are an excellent food choice that are satisfying at any time of the day and during any season of the year! Greek yogurt makes a healthy protein-rich treat when blended with fresh fruits for quick and yummy smoothies, like this refreshing pineapple banana smoothie. We love to use our Lowfat Vanilla Bean Greek Yogurt because vanilla just seems to make fruit flavors bloom. However, feel free to use our Plain Greek Yogurt instead (adding ½ teaspoon vanilla extract and 2 teaspoons of sugar, if desired). Share the smoothie goodness with friends and family members by sharing this recipe on Facebook, Pinterest, Instagram, and Twitter!

To make this smoothie, just combine the Cabot Greek Yogurt of your choice with ½ cup of diced fresh pineapple, ⅓ of a frozen, peeled ripe banana, 1 tablespoon of brown sugar (optional), and 4 small ice cubes in a blender. Blend all the ingredients together until ice has disappeared and enjoy!
