Ingredients
-
1 tub Cabot Plain Cream Cheese Spread
-
2 fresh bagels (Everything, onion, sesame or your favorite flavor)
-
4 slices red onion
-
4 slices fresh tomato
-
4 ounces sliced smoked salmon
-
½ cup fresh watercress, micro-greens, or red leaf lettuce
-
1 tablespoon capers
-
4 fresh dill sprigs
Directions
PREPARE vegetables: wash, dry and thinly slice onion and tomato. Rinse and dry your choice of greens.
TOAST sliced bagels until lightly brown.
SPREAD about 3 tablespoons (or to taste) of cream cheese on each of the two bagel halves. Divide evenly and layer the onion, tomato, salmon and greens on the bagel halves.
SPRINKLE with capers and fresh dill and top with other bagel half and serve.
Recipe Note
Cabot's Chive and Onion or Garden Vegetable Cream Cheese would also be great for a bagel sandwich. Add your protein of choice or just load up the veggies!
