- 1 ripe heirloom tomato
- ⅛ teaspoon salt
- 2 pieces hearty white bread
4 thin slices Cabot Extra Sharp Cheddar
Directions
- SLICE tomato into ⅛-inch slices.
- SPREADÂ out on cutting board and sprinkle with salt.
- ARRANGEÂ cheddar slices on each slice of bread (to protect the bread from getting soggy from tomato slices).
- ARRANGEÂ fresh tomato slices as the middle layer of this simple sandwich.
