Liberty Hill Farm and Robeth Holsteins Rochester, VT
Welcome to All
In addition to running their dairy business along with son David and his wife, Asia, Beth and Bob Kennett have hosted guests on their picturesque farm for decades. Visitors come from all over to experience the daily rhythm of farm life and explore the natural beauty of the area, each day bookended by wholesome home-cooked breakfast and dinners around the big farmhouse table. Many families make it an annual tradition. “We have made the most phenomenal friendships,” Beth says. “The world has come to us”
History and Heritage
The five-story barn at Liberty Hill Farm dates back to the 1780s and is crowned by a cow-shaped weather vane. The Kennett's, who both came from families with deep farming heritage, first fell in love with Liberty Hill when on their honeymoon in the area, but it was not for sale. A few years later, fate brought them back to the farm, now on the market. They wrote a check for $500— “all the money we had,” says Beth—and never looked back.
