This impressive plate will come together quickly and easily. Simply gather your various cheese board ingredients and bring the Cabot Seriously Sharp Cracker Cuts, Cabot 5 Year Cheddar, Legacy Collection Alpine Cheddar Cheese, and Cabot Habanero Cheddar to room temperature.


Once the cheese has reached room temperature, slice and place on a large cheese board. Surround the cheese with piles of dried fruit, crunchy nuts and salami, soppressata (or other cured meats) to create a plate with contrasting flavors and textures. Finish plate by surrounding ingredients with an assortment of bread and crackers.

Ingredients

  • 1 - 2 cups apple, grapes, apricots, dates or other favorite fresh or dried fruits

  • ¼ pound salami, soppressata or other cured meats (optional)

  • 2 or 3 cracker varieties of your choice

  • 2 varieties of nuts such as almonds and pistachios

Directions

  1. BRING the cheeses to room temperature. Cut the different cheeses into varying shapes such as triangles, chunks or slices. Place them in groups on a large cheese board leaving space for other ingredients.

  2. SURROUND the cheese with groups of fresh and dried fruits, crunchy nuts and salami, soppressata (or other cured meats, if using) to create a plate with contrasting flavors and textures.

  3. SURROUND with an assortment of crackers.
