There is something about this cheese board that makes you want to just hunker down and dive in. The colors, textures, and of course the flavors, draw you in. It would be great outdoors after a hike in the mountains, or cozied up next to a warm fire with a glass of your favorite beverage after a day on the slopes. Cheese boards are a great way to share your favorite tasty bites with friends and family.
Ingredients

12 slices each of 2 Cabot Cracker Cut Slice trays, such as Pepper Jack, Seriously Sharp or Gouda
1 small round or wedge of soft cheese such Brie, or Vermont Creamery Bijou or Coupole
8 - 10 slices each of favorite thin sliced charcuterie, such as soppressetta or salami (optional)
1 cup fresh berries such as raspberries or strawberries
1 apple, sliced thin
½ cup walnuts, almonds or favorite nuts
2 types of crackers of varying shapes and flavors
½ small seeded baguette or favorite bread, sliced
Jam and/or honey
Directions
SELECT cheese board, flat plate or platter to accommodate all the ingredients.
ALLOW cheeses to come to room temperature (about 20 minutes)
ARRANGE cheese slices and round or wedge on the board leaving room for the other selections.
FILL in the spaces around the cheese with groups of the fruit, nuts, crackers, bread and sliced meats (if using). Use the varying shapes, colors and textures of the to create a visually appealing (and delicious!) board.
ADD the jam and/or honey either directly onto the board or in small ramekins, including a small serving spoon or knife as needed.
