St. Patrick's Day Cheese Board
As they say, everyone is Irish on St. Patrick's Day! If you are looking for green snacks for your party, this St. Patrick's Day Cheese Board is jam-packed with goodness. Healthy, green snack foods like sliced cucumbers, green peppers, Granny Smith apples and grapes, paired with a selection of Cabot cheeses will make this St. Patrick's Day appetizer the hit of the party. 1 tray Cabot Pepper Jack Cracker Cut Slices
1 tray Cabot Vermont Sharp Cheddar Cracker Cut Slices
1 log (about 6 ounces) herbed goat cheese
1 Bartlett pear (or other green pear)
1 Granny Smith apple (or other green apple)
1 green bell pepper
1 English cucumber
½ cup green olives
1 small bunch of green, seedless grapes
1 package of crispy green vegetable snacks or chips
WASH and slice the pear, apple, bell pepper and cucumber. Do not peel.
WASH the green grapes, leaving on the stem.
ARRANGE the cheese slices in a circle around the outer edge of a round cheese board or platter. Add the green fruit and veggies in groups inside the cheese circle leaving room for other items. Add the herbed goat cheese, olives and the vegetable crisps to fill in any spaces.
SERVE with your favorite crackers, if desired.
