Directions
- PREHEAT oven to 350°F.
- PREPARE mac and cheese according to the package directions. Set aside and keep warm.
- TRIM the bottom of each tomato so they stand straight without rolling. Scoop out the inside of each tomato. Season with salt and pepper to taste. Arrange in a small baking dish.
- COMBINE bacon, cooked mac and cheese and dill in a medium mixing bowl. Divide the filling evenly among the tomatoes. Sprinkle with grated cheddar.
- BAKE for 25 – 30 minutes until heated through and cheese is melted. Let tomatoes rest for 5 minutes before serving.
