There’s nothing more classic at a dinner party gathering than a beautiful cheese board, filled to the brim with juicy fruits, sweet jams, and savory cheeses & meats. This Dinner Party Cheese Board recipe is the perfect way to learn how to make an easy cheese board, sure to impress your guests with delicious cheese pairings. For this festive cheeseboard, you’ll want to start with 2-3 types of cheese – we recommend keeping it simple, with Cabot’s Extra Sharp Cheddar, Vermont Sharp Cheddar, and Pepper Jack Cheese. You can always scale your cheese board to the number of guests you expect – or could make a cheese board for one (we’re not judging!)
This simple cheese board serves between 4 and 6 guests. Start with two to three different cheeses, and bring the cheeses to room temperature for 15 minutes. Spread the different cheeses out on the cheeseboard.
Next, fill in the surrounding areas of the board with piles of contrasting flavors and textures. Fresh fruit, crunchy nuts, meats, and jam are a great starting point!
Lastly, complement the cheeses and pairings with crackers – the vehicle to stack and eat!
