Doggie Pupcakes with Peanut Butter Frosting

Ingredients

½ cup whole wheat flour (can substitute other if your dog is wheat sensitive)
- 1 teaspoon baking powder
- â…“ cup vegetable oil
- â…“ cup unsweetened applesauce
- 1 egg
- 2 tablespoons honey

3 tablespoons Cabot Plain Greek Yogurt

1½ tablespoons creamy peanut butter

PREHEAT oven to 350°F. Line 6 wells of a standard muffin tin with paper liners, or spray with non-stick cooking spray and set aside.
WHISK together the flour and baking powder in a medium bowl. Add the vegetable oil, applesauce, egg and honey, and whisk gently to combine.
DIVIDE the batter between the prepared muffin cups and bake until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean, 10 to 15 minutes. Allow the pupcakes to cool completely before frosting and serving.
MAKE the frosting by stirring together the yogurt and peanut butter. Spread on top of each cooled pupcake before serving.
Recipe Note
The pupcakes can be kept for up to 3 days in the refrigerator.
