Directions
- PREPAREÂ the mushrooms: Brush loose dirt from surfaces, cut end of stems off, and cut larger mushrooms in half so that mushrooms are about the same size. Set aside.
- MELTÂ 4 tablespoons of butter in a medium skillet.
- ADD the minced garlic and stir until fragrant, about 1 – 2 minutes.
- ADDÂ the mushrooms. Stir on medium-high heat until mushrooms are tender. Sprinkle with salt and pepper to taste. If the mushrooms start sticking to the pan add the additional 1 tablespoon of butter.
- ADDÂ the sprig of oregano or thyme and cook for a few more minutes or until fragrant. Serve hot.
