Green Mountain Smoothie with Kale and Greek Yogurt

This Green Mountain Smoothie recipe is so good, you might forget that it’s also so good for you! Loaded with vitamin-rich kale and protein packed Greek yogurt, it’s the smoothie that’s got it all: healthy nutrients, delicious flavor and a rich green color – and did we mention it’s quick and easy to make? To make 2 (2-cup) servings, place Cabot Lowfat Plain Greek Yogurt (or Cabot Plain Greek Yogurt), ice, apple cider (or apple juice), banana, dates and honey in a blender and blend together.
Add kale leaves and puree on high speed for about 45 seconds or until completely smooth.
Serve immediately and enjoy.

1 cup Cabot Lowfat Plain Greek Yogurt or Cabot Plain Greek Yogurt
- 1 cup ice
- ¾ cup apple cider or apple juice
- 1 banana, peeled and broken in half
- 3 soft dates, pitted and cut in half
- 2 tablespoons honey
- 3 cups clean torn kale leaves
- BLEND in blender, combine yogurt, ice, cider or juice, banana, dates and honey.
- ADD kale leaves and puree on high speed for about 45 seconds or until completely smooth. Serve immediately.
