Cabot's Classic Gourmet Grilled Cheese Sandwich is sure to be a new go-to grilled cheese favorite. It features Cabot's creamy Salted Butter, and equal parts Pepper Jack and Vermont Sharp Cheddar. Just a little spice and a little tang combine to send this sandwich over the top. We chose a hearty sourdough bread for this classic, but any of your favorite breads will be great.

Directions

  1. BUTTER both sides of bread slices and season with salt and pepper.
  2. PREHEAT a large skillet or griddle over medium-low heat. Assemble cheese sandwiches using ¼ of the sliced cheese for each sandwich.

  3. TRANSFER to skillet or griddle and cook until golden on underside, reducing heat if needed. Turn over and cook until sandwiches are golden on second side and cheese is melted.

  4. CUT each sandwich in half on diagonal and serve.
