Air Fryer Chicken Tenders with Cheddar Cheese
What could be better than a crispy, cheesy chicken tender dipped in your favorite creamy dressing? Perfect for game day - or any day!
- 1 pound chicken tenders
- ½ cup flour
- 2 eggs
½ cup panko bread crumbs
½ cup Italian style bread crumbs
- ½ teaspoon pepper
- Olive oil spray
PREHEAT the air fryer to 400°F.
PREPARE three shallow dredging plates: Add the flour to one, whisk the eggs in the second one and mix the panko, breadcrumbs, cheese, and pepper in the third.
COAT each tender in flour, then egg, and finally the cheese-breadcrumb mixture.
SPRAY both sides of the chicken generously with oil.
COOK the chicken for 10 minutes (working In batches if necessary) flipping halfway through, until fully cooked (internal temp 165°F) and chicken is crispy and golden.
SERVE with your favorite dipping sauce, if desired.
