Let the Summer Grilling Season Begin!
Here are just a few of our favorite summer grilling recipes!
BBQ Pork Burgers
Ground pork with a hint of bacon and the creamy taste of Cabot Pepper Jack Cheese make these a grilling masterpiece. Because, really, how much better can a cheeseburger get?Â
Kimchi Cheddar Burger
Want to be on trend with a new burger flavor? Try our Kimchi Cheddar Burger. If you’ve never heard of kimchi, which consists of fermented napa cabbage, garlic, onions, chili paste, and daikon radish, you’ll be heading to the store to buy some more after making these burgers.
Black Bean Veggie Burger
Summer is here and that means it’s the season of block parties and backyard BBQs. If you’re looking to add something new to the barbecue spread, be sure to try these hearty Black Bean Veggie Burgers topped with Cabot Seriously Sharp Cheddar or your favorite Cabot cheese. Eating meatless has never been so delicious! Cabot has a lot more meatless grilling options to check out.Â
Stuffed Ham, Pickle and Cheese Grilled Pita Pockets
How about loading up the grill with these Stuffed Ham, Pickle and Cheese Grilled Pita Pockets? Use our Pepper Jack or Seriously Sharp Cracker Cuts for grill-side easy cooking. Ham, cheese and pickles stuffed in a pocket and grilled until warm and melty. Delicious!
Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders
Sometimes, burgers don’t have to be all that massive to be delicious. For instance, these Bacon Cheeseburger Sliders pack a whole bunch of flavor, and they’re almost bite-sized! This recipe makes about 24 burgers, which serve wonderfully as hors d’oeuvres at a family gathering or a party.Â
Grilled Chicken Vegetable Kabobs
Of course another great summer BBQ option is chicken! Our Grilled Chicken Vegetable Kabobs recipe uses a spicy, herb-y yogurt based marinade for the chicken and includes big, chunky summer vegetables with a yogurt-olive oil dressing, all skewered and grilled to perfection. All of these fantastic flavors combine beautifully to turn out a truly appetizing dish that you’ll make again and again.
Tandoori Murgh
Tandoori murgh is one of Northern India’s most popular dishes, and for good reason. The yogurt-marinated chicken is cooked over hot coals in a special clay oven called a tandoor. Traditionally, whole chickens are used, but this recipe also works well with thighs, boneless breasts, or drumsticks. While the delicious smoky flavor from the tandoor is hard to beat, you can also get great results using your home oven or grill.Â
Grilled Sausage and Broccoli Rabe Pizza
Grilled Cheesesteak Flatbread
Or these grilled flatbreads would be a very welcome and tasty addition to your BBQ table. Traditional Philly flavors: thin cut grilled steak, fresh green and red bell peppers, and onions on naan or pita bread topped with melty Cabot Vermont Sharp Shredded Cheddar (or your favorite Cabot cheese). Cook the veggies in a grill basket for that extra delicious charred sweetness.
And don't forget the sides!
New England Potato Salad with Horseradish Cheddar
A summer outing or picnic wouldn’t really be complete without potato salad. Our version, New England Potato Salad with Cabot Horseradish Cheddar, not only features new Maine potatoes and the bold taste of horseradish cheddar, but is made complete, and completely yummy, with the addition of tangy Cabot Plain Greek Yogurt in the dressing.
Tzatziki Pasta Salad
Or from another part of the world - Greek Tzatziki Pasta Salad will take your pasta salad from ordinary to extraordinary. Made with tzatziki (a deliciously creamy and tangy Greek yogurt and cucumber sauce), carrots, onions, cucumbers and fresh dill, this fresh pasta salad delivers a light, tasty flavor and pairs wonderfully with grilled chicken and burgers or whatever you've got cooking on the grill.
